Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Sales Specialist in Malaysia to drive deposits account acquisition from consumers and businesses. The role offers opportunities to generate new leads for other products via HLB@Work and to explain product features to clients with supporting materials and services.

The position supports a broad range of industries and emphasizes payroll accounts, with emphasis on building and maintaining client relationships and following up to close sales.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Candidates without SPM but have at least 2 years of sales experience are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads from internal and external lists to achieve acquisition goals.
• Develop and schedule sales proposals and activities including calls to new potential and existing clients to maintain pipeline.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and strong client relationships including briefing, training and responding to sales enquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Follow up on sales activities to close deals and ensure accounts are opened in a timely manner.
• Participate in sales events and roadshows where applicable.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development; carry out market research.
• Ensure all tasks comply with guidelines and regulations.
