Job summary

OCBC is seeking an Applications Support professional to provide 2nd and 3rd line support for banking applications across on-site teams in Malaysia. The role requires understanding of Java/.NET stacks, databases, and Linux/Windows environments.

You will collaborate with cross-border colleagues to understand needs and implement fixes and enhancements. With at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar capacity, you will contribute to risk management, system improvements, and user-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in application support.
• Experience in Level 2 and 3 production support is required.
• Knowledge of Java or .NET technologies and databases is essential.
• Ability to work with cross-border colleagues and on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and enhancement for banking applications.
• Perform Level 2 and 3 production support and investigations.
• Analyze root causes and implement solutions and changes.
• Understand system design and assess impact of changes.
• Code-level defect fixes and enhancements.
• Manage system risks and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with users to understand needs and issues.
