Job summary

OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a Bancassurance Specialist to drive the bancassurance business by delivering expert insurance advisory and supporting Relationship Managers. The role emphasizes compliance, governance, and end-to-end sales execution, with travel to other locations in Malaysia as required.

The ideal candidate holds a finance-related degree with at least 3 years’ experience in insurance sales or banking and must maintain relevant licenses and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance sales, banking, or investment industries with proven sales performance.
• Possession of necessary and relevant insurance licenses and certifications.
• Strong advisory mindset with a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide need-based bancassurance advisory to customers and align solutions with goals and risk profiles.
• Support Relationship Managers in closing insurance sales through joint efforts and direct closure.
• Take ownership of end-to-end direct sales closure for a smooth customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
