Lokal Bagelry is seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our bakery team in Malaysia. This internship is ideal for students pursuing Baking & Pastry, Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia, or related fields who want hands-on experience in a professional bakery environment.

You will assist in ingredient prep, mixing, baking, and decorating, while learning bakery operations and food safety. Internship allowance is provided, with potential for full-time employment on successful completion.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Baking & Pastry, Culinary Arts, or related program.
• Passionate about baking and eager to learn.
• Responsible, hardworking, and take initiative.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Available to work according to bakery operating hours.
• Internship allowance provided.
• Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced bakers.
• Exposure to commercial bakery operations.
• Opportunity for full-time employment upon successful completion, subject to performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients and bakery products.
• Support mixing, shaping, baking, and decorating processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with daily bakery operations as assigned by supervisors.
