Job summary

VERONA BAKE (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated bakery assistant to mix, ferment, shape and bake a range of breads, cakes and pastries according to our recipes and standards.

You will ensure proper preparation, check ingredient quality, monitor the display, and maintain a clean counter and kitchen. Flexibility to work OT, weekends and holidays is required; Mandarin is an advantage, with Malay/English or Mandarin communication welcomed.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent completed.
• Knowledge of bread, cake, pastries, and desserts preparation.
• Able to follow recipes and standards precisely.
• Must work OT, weekends, and holidays.
• Mandarin is an advantage; able to communicate in Malay and English or Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Mix, ferment, shape, and bake according to recipes.
• Ensure proper preparation according to formula and standards.
• Check quality of ingredients and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor display of baked goods and stock levels.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.
