Job summary

VERONA BAKE (M) SDN BHD is hiring a store associate in Malaysia to recommend products, assist customers, and handle sales transactions. The role requires good communication, the ability to work with Malay, English, and Mandarin-speaking clients, and a readiness to work flexible hours including OT and weekends.

You will also maintain product shelving, ensure neat store presentation, and uphold food safety and store cleanliness. Prior related experience and SPM or equivalent are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Experience in related field is required.
• Able to communicate in Malay and English, or Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including OT, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Recommend products to customers and complete the sales process.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Process customer payments and ensure accurate change is given.
• Keep up to date with product information.
• Ensure timely product shelving and neat presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness in the store and work areas, ensuring food safety.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
