Qualifications

• Must have SPM/Certificate/Diploma or equivalent in Baking or related field.
• 1 year of bakery/production experience preferred; fresh candidates may be considered.
• Basic knowledge of bread and pastry production processes, ingredients, recipes, proofing, baking temperatures, and bakery equipment.
• Able to follow recipes, SOPs, production schedules, and quality specs.
• Good attention to detail with commitment to product consistency, safety, and quality.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to work shifts, early mornings, overtime, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic communication and record-keeping to report issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bread, pastry, frozen cake, and other bakery products per approved recipes and specs.
• Accurately weigh, measure, mix, knead, portion, shape, proof, bake, cool, decorate, finish, and prepare for freezing.
• Follow production methods, recipes, work instructions, and schedules.
• Ensure correct ingredients, quantities, temperatures, and times are applied.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality.
• Assist with product changeovers and smooth transitions between types.
