Job summary

Verona Bake (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Kitchen Helper to master basic cooking methods and prepare ingredients daily for the station. You will ensure proper storage, maintain a clean kitchen, and uphold food safety standards while working with the Head Chef and team.

Candidate must have at least SPM or equivalent and 1 year of relevant experience. Malay and English communication is required, Mandarin is an advantage. OT, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions from Head Chef.
• Willingness to work OT, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication in Malay/English; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Master basic cooking methods and ingredients preparation.
• Prepare fresh ingredients daily per menu/SOP.
• Maintain cleanliness and storage of kitchen and equipment.
• Ensure food safety standards are observed.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of kitchen area.
• Collaborate with team and Head Chef on station needs.
