Job summary

SDS Group Berhad is seeking a hands-on Outlet Manager to oversee day-to-day bakery and café operations in Seremban. You will drive sales, manage costs and lead a dedicated team to deliver quality products and exceptional service.

Responsibilities include ensuring SOP compliance, inventory control, food safety, and performance reporting. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving and excellent communication with staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, F&B Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in café, bakery, restaurant or F&B operations.
• Experience managing a team and handling daily outlet operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Good understanding of sales, stock control, costing and profitability.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented with strong service awareness.
• Able to work under pressure and handle operational issues independently.
• Willing to work on weekends and according to outlet requirements.
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office and/or relevant POS and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bakery/café outlet operations, ensuring SOPs and standards are met.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and monitor performance against targets.
• Control costs, wastage, stock levels and labour efficiency.
• Manage inventory: receiving, storage, FIFO/FEFO, stock counts and variance.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, proper handling and compliance.
• Maintain high customer service standards and address complaints.
• Lead, coach and develop outlet team; schedule and discipline as needed.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to Area Manager and maintain records.
