Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of backend/process experience preferred.
• Familiar with Tape and reel and semiconductor adhesives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Sustain Tape and Reel and Backend processes.
• Own quality, yield, cost, and process capability KPIs.
• Conduct DoE studies to optimize cost and quality.
• Develop and optimize processes for reliability.
• Train operations team and transfer processes.
• Develop equipment and material specs for TnP/PnP.
• Lead CIP projects for cost reduction and capacity expansion.
• Maintain documentation and PFMEA/control plans.

Position Summary:

Responsible for set up, develop, and maintain processes to improve yield, quality, reliability and machine UPH.

Highly capable in troubleshooting and resolve process issue as well as investigation on quality issue by applying problem solving skills, statistically analysis methods, 6 sigma tools and other quality tools.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for sustaining Tape and reel and Backend process.
• Full process ownership on quality, yield, damage containment, process capability and stability, cost, CpK and other related KPIs.
• Perform process window study using standard tools like DoE approach and material / equipment assessment to optimize process in term of cost, and quality.
• Responsible for process development / optimization to improve process quality and reliability.
• Establish optimum process and provide support to train operations team.
• Develop equipment / material specification for TnP/PnP process, including reject and acceptance criteria.
• Lead process transfer, process & tool qualification and ramp related projects.
• Lead and drive Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to enable cost reduction, capacity expansion, yield and performance enhancement to enable the production of Best-In-Class LED chips at competitive cost.
• Create and maintain documentation, certification & compliance of procedure in assigned functional areas according to safety & quality standard to meet legal & customer requirements.
• Perform risk assessment and derive necessary control to keep process stable. Owner of PFMEA, control plan and working instruction.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

• Basic skills in Tape and reel.
• Basic knowledge on semiconductor-related adhesive tapes and equipment.
• Problem solving oriented and Strong analytical mind and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Power Point
• Initiative and able to work under minimum supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail orientated with matured interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Hands on experience dealing withbackendprocesses (PnP, Sorting, TnR and etc) will be prioritized.

Preferable have experience in handling Ismeca NX/NY and ASM AT410.

Skilled in Statistical analysis tools, 8D problem solving, SPC, FMEA, DMAIC
