Position Summary:
Initiates and leadsprocess activitiesinmanufacturingengineeringand/orsustainingengineering
What You Will Do:
Support all engineering activities assigned and tasked by the Engineering Manager(s).
Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes to ensure process capability, product quality, and production stability.
Establish and validate process parameters, specifications, and control plans to ensure robust and repeatable mass production.
Lead structured problem-solving using 5-Why analysis, Fishbone, DOE, and 8D methodologies to eliminate recurring process-related issues.
Own the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) process to track, execute, and validate long-term process improvements.
Develop, implement, and maintain process documentation including SOPs, work instructions, process flow, PFMEA, and control plans.
Monitor, analyze, and drive continuous improvement on key process performance indicators including Yield, First Pass Yield (FPY), Cycle Time, Process Capability (Cp/Cpk), Scrap Rate, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Lead process qualification, validation, and continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, throughput, and yield while meeting business targets.
Support new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing transfer, process qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and production ramp-up activities.
Collaborate closely with Equipment, Production, Quality, Product Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure successful product launches.
Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):
3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical problem-solving, project management, and effective technical communication skills.
Hands-on experience in semiconductor, LED, SMT, or electronics manufacturing processes such as SMT, Die Attach, Wire/Ribbon Bond, Glue Dispense, Laser Ablation, AOI, AVI, Electrical Test (EOL), or related backend assembly processes.
Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), process capability (Cp/Cpk), DOE, PFMEA, Control Plan, and root cause analysis methodologies.
Experience with process validation, process optimization, yield improvement, and defect reduction.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
Experience with data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, Excel, or equivalent statistical software is preferred.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in process troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and manufacturing transfer projects.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage.
