Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio ranging from Commercial to Corporate clients. You will evaluate loan applications, conduct credit reviews, and actively market and cross-sell a wide range of banking products and services.

You will monitor facility utilisation and profitability, build client rapport, maintain account relationships, and foster loyalty by acting as a trusted advisor.

• Monitor facility utilisation and profitability of the assigned portfolio.
• Build rapport and develop networking to maintain account relationships.
• Build client loyalty by acting as a trusted advisor.
• Identify client needs and cross-sell opportunities; negotiate for best margins.
• Deliver timely and quality results for KPIs.
• Ensure accuracy of customer due diligence (CDD) and KYC.

Job Description

• Responsible for managing a portfolio (ranging from Commercial to Corporate clients) including evaluating their loan applications, conducting credit reviews, marketing and cross-selling a wide range of banking products and services
• Monitor overall facility utilisation and profitability of the assigned portfolio.
• Build rapport and develop meaningful networking to maintain account relationships with both existing and prospective clients
• Build client loyalty by establishing a trusted advisor relationship.
• Identify clients' needs and capture new financing and / or cross selling opportunities; negotiate for best margins to optimise profitability.
• Deliver both in terms of speed and quality for all KPIs assigned.
• Ensure accuracy on customer due diligence ('CDD') and Know Your Customer ('KYC').
