Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is hiring a Mortgage Sales professional in Penang to provide comprehensive mortgage solutions and exceptional service. You will guide clients through the entire loan process, assess eligibility, prepare proposals, and liaise with internal teams to ensure timely approvals.

With 2–3 years in mortgage sales, you will stay current on market trends, build client relationships, and meet sales targets within a fast-paced banking environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–3 years in mortgage sales or similar financial services role.
• Knowledge of Malaysian mortgage products, lending criteria and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on mortgage products based on needs and eligibility.
• Guide through mortgage application: docs, credit, valuation.
• Analyze applicants' repayment capacity and risk.
• Present loan proposals with terms and repayment schedules.
• Coordinate with credit, legal, operations and valuers.
• Stay updated on market trends, interest rates and regulations.
• Maintain relationships and seek new business opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and banking laws.
• Achieve individual sales targets.
• Provide excellent service throughout the mortgage journey.
