Job summary

BATERIKU (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Automotive Training Specialist to deliver theory, demonstrations, and practical sessions across Penang, Perak, Kedah, Perlis, and Langkawi.

You will manage classes, conduct assessments, and ensure all training aligns with our Academy standards. The role requires up-to-date knowledge of automotive, Hybrid & EV, and battery tech, plus the ability to travel to branches and Pitstops for on-site training, with a focus on safety, coaching, and continuous

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive, Hybrid & EV, and battery technology.
• Ability to conduct assessments and provide coaching.
• Understanding of Workshop Safety, PPE, and EV High Voltage Safety requirements.
• Capability to manage training equipment and tools according to safety procedures.
• Ability to travel to assigned locations including Langkawi as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct theory, demonstration, and practical training sessions according to modules, lesson plans, and training schedules.
• Manage classes and ensure participant discipline and engagement.
• Conduct theory, oral/quiz, and practical assessments based on assessment criteria.
• Provide feedback and coaching to participants and identify those requiring remedial training.
• Prepare assessment records and competency reports.
• Keep automotive, Hybrid & EV, and battery technology knowledge current.
• Develop and improve training modules and provide training materials, practical exercises, case studies, and troubleshooting scenarios.
• Ensure training equipment and vehicles are in good working order and safe to use.
• Ensure participants comply with Workshop Safety, PPE, and EV High Voltage Safety requirements.
• Travel to assigned locations as required by operational and training schedules.
• Act as liaison between Akademi Bateriku and regional operations regarding training and technical matters.
• Provide feedback to the Academy on technical issues, recurring problems, equipment, and training gaps identified in the region.
• Assist with Train-the-Trainer (TTT) and knowledge sharing with regional staff.
• Travel to assigned locations as required by operational and training schedules.

Job description

This role involves delivering automotive training across the northern regions of Malaysia (Perak, Pulau Pinang, Kedah, Perlis, and Langkawi). You will be responsible for conducting theory, demonstration, and practical training sessions, managing assessments, and ensuring training delivery meets Academy standards. You will also serve as the technical point of contact for branches, Pitstops, and training locations in your assigned areas.

Manage and conduct training activities across assigned regions, including on-site training, mobile training, and technical coaching

Make regular visits to branches, Pitstops, and training locations to monitor work standards and staff competency

Provide technical coaching and troubleshooting support to Pitstop Officers, technicians, and relevant staff

Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) for assigned areas and monitor training effectiveness with follow-up

Prepare Regional Training Activity reports, Attendance, Assessment & Competency reports for the Academy

Identify potential trainers and technical talent in the northern regions

Act as liaison between Akademi Bateriku and regional operations regarding training and technical matters
