Job summary

DIMENSI CARCITY SDN BHD in Penang is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering excellent customer service. You will oversee workshop activities, allocate jobs, and drive technician productivity to meet Proton standards.

You will work closely with Parts, Sales and Administration, monitor KPIs, handle customer enquiries, and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive after-sales/service operations preferred.
• Proven track record in service management or workshop supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of vehicle servicing and workshop operations.
• Customer-oriented and able to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Able to work independently and manage a team effectively.
• Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Service Department and workshop operations.
• Oversee daily service activities, job allocation, workflow and technician productivity.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired according to Proton standards and company procedures.
• Monitor service quality, turnaround time and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service-related issues professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure accurate completion of job orders, service records, claims and other documentation.
• Monitor workshop performance, service targets and overall department KPIs.
• Work closely with the Parts, Sales and Administration teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and customer experience.
• Conduct regular team briefings, training and performance monitoring for service staff.
• Prepare regular reports on department performance, customer satisfaction and operational improvements.
• Ensure the workshop maintains a clean, safe and professional working environment.
