Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering professional to support pre-sales, post-sales and application tasks for the company’s projects. You will handle electrical, control, robotics, wiring, pneumatic design and installation tasks at client sites.

You will also design concepts, program PLCs and IIoT gateways, and coordinate with suppliers for Industry 4.0 projects. On-site installation and user training are expected, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical related field.
• 1-2 years of working experience in related field.
• Programming knowledge in PLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality pre-sale, post-sales and application support to prospects and clients.
• Complete assigned product trainings/projects/support within set deadlines.
• Carry out design, installation and related tasks for electrical, control, robot, wiring and pneumatic systems.
• Shortlist suppliers for Industry 4.0 projects.
• Do concept design, PLC programming and IIoT gateway integrations.
• Prepare project schedules and monitor progress until handover.
• Support after sales during warranty period and liaise with related departments.
