Celestica Malaysia (Penang) seeks an automation maintenance engineer to support setup, installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of robotic systems on production lines. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and drive continuous improvement with Lean practices.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in engineering with hands-on SMT, Fuji NXT, PLCs and robotics experience, and you will work with a team to maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering fields; hands-on automation experience preferred.
• Experience with Fuji NXT, PLCs, sensors, actuators and robotic systems is required.
• Familiarity with SMT and PCBA processes is essential.

Responsabilités

• Support setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation equipment on production lines.
• Assist engineers in machine installation, calibration, and testing of robotic arms, conveyors and sensors.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maximize machine uptime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults.
• Support continuous improvement activities for process automation and productivity.
• Maintain records for equipment performance, downtime and maintenance schedules; ensure safety and quality compliance.
