Job summary

Celestica Penang Design Centre seeks a seasoned engineer to support core commodity workflows and drive digital automation. You will review drawings, verify GD&T, and ensure quality with PPAP/FAI while acting as the technical bridge between engineering teams and software developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5–8 years of engineering, manufacturing, or technical supply chain experience.
• Proficiency in Python and scripting for data processing and API integrations.
• Familiar with version control (Git) and enterprise AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support core commodity engineering workflows and lead digital automation initiatives.
• Assist with day-to-day technical operations such as drawing reviews, GD&T verification, and PPAP/FAI.
• Bridge commodity teams and software developers by translating requirements into automated tools.
• Oversee testing, validation (UAT), and deployment of internal software tools and Python scripts.
• Provide guidance, code reviews, and project coordination for software interns.
• Maintain documentation, tool repositories, and revision histories for continuity.
