Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Automation Mechanical Engineer for a new global industrial automation start-up in Kulim, Malaysia. You will design mechanical systems for automation equipment using 3D/2D CAD and support project execution across international teams.

The role requires 2+ years in automation, proficiency in SolidWorks/In inventor/AutoCAD, and strong knowledge of pneumatics, motion systems, and machine structures. English communication is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in automation or customized equipment design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, pneumatics, motion systems, and machine structures.
• Good communication skills in English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for automation equipment using 3D/2D CAD.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for automation equipment using 3D/2D CAD.
• Support concept development, technical proposals, and project execution.
• Adapt and optimize global designs for local manufacturing.
• Collaborate with overseas engineering teams on design reviews and technical alignment.
• Provide technical support during assembly, commissioning, and customer acceptance testing (FAT).
• Maintain engineering documentation and support continuous design improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in automation or customized equipment design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
