Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to plan, coordinate and optimize machine-build and manufacturing processes for customized automation equipment, ensuring seamless assembly, integration, testing and on-time delivery in line with quality, safety and technical requirements.

You will work with Design, Electrical, PLC/Software, Supply Chain and Quality teams to drive improvements in quality, productivity and process flow, and you may travel for customer installation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation, machine build or manufacturing.
• Able to read mechanical drawings, BOMs and electrical schematics.
• Willing to travel for customer installation/ commissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

About the role

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or related Engineering
• 2+ years' relevant experience in automation, machine build or manufacturing
• Able to read mechanical drawings, BOMs and electrical schematics
• Hands-on knowledge of pneumatics, sensors, servo systems and machine integration is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and coordination skills
• Willing to travel for customer installation/commissioning when required
