Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Kulim, Kedah, is seeking an Automation PLC Engineer for a new setup. The role involves leading electrical control system design for custom automation equipment and collaborating with international teams to deliver high-tech manufacturing solutions.

You will design schematics using EPLAN/AutoCAD Electrical, develop PLC programs with Siemens S7-1200/1500 and TIA Portal, and ensure system validation through FAT/SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in custom automation / machine building.
• Strong PLC programming and electrical control design experience.
• Proficient in Siemens TIA Portal and EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical.
• Experience with servo/motion control, industrial networks and machine commissioning.
• Knowledge of IEC / CE standards.
• Good English communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Willing to travel for projects / training when required.
