About the job Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Project Design Management: Coordinate mechanical engineering projects, including planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor project budgets and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Client Communication: Engage with clients to understand technical requirements, resolve issues, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Team Development: Support training programs to enhance team members technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• System Design & Analysis: Lead the design and evaluation of mechanical systems for new product development and improvement initiatives.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure mechanical designs and equipment meet industry standards and internal specifications.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other departments to meet project goals.
• Process Improvement: Develop and refine internal design standards and workflows to elevate engineering quality.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Automation, or a related field.
• 35 years of experience in 3C product testing automation or assembly automation.
• Proven ability to independently design non-standard testing automation equipment from concept to completion.
• Proficient in CAD and SolidWorks; experience with ANSYS or other simulation tools is a plus.
• Skilled in probability-based tolerance analysis and tolerance chain optimization.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is required (spoken, written, and listening).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially in on-site client environments.
• Willingness to travel for short-term business trips and work overtime when needed.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented, and resilient under pressure.
