Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced automation design lead to drive the development and assembly of automated equipment. You will oversee conceptualization, hardware selection, and integration of actuators, motors, controllers and sensors to deliver robust manufacturing solutions.

The role requires hands-on design and commissioning experience, plus strong project planning and continuous improvement mindset to meet yield and quality targets.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma, Degree or Master in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering or other equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in automation with 5 years hands on in design and assembly of automated equipment and system.
• Detail oriented and must possess good knowledge and experience in the design of manufacturing, automation concept and automated equipment.
• Hands-on experience in generation full manufacturing automation solution using 3D Solidworks or other modeling software.
