Job summary

Synturn (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites a qualified Automation Engineer to join our team. You will develop project plans for automotive automation projects, handle machine setups, and oversee installation and commissioning.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical or Mechatronics degree with at least two years of related experience and a proactive approach to robotics, systems, and control engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Proactive mechanical design in robotics, systems, control, and product engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones for automotive projects.
• Handle machine setups and testing
• Installation & commissioning of machine
• Active and patient listener from internal and external best manufacturing practices
• Mechanical design proactive and initiative to explore ideas for factory automation
• Capable of presenting factory automation on cost estimation, project milestone & return on investment
• Enclosure of project documentation for operating procedure, maintenance manual and its design/drawings/BOM

Job Description:

Develop project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones for automotive projects.

Handle machine setups and testing

Installation & commissioning of machine

Active and patient listener from internal and external best manufacturing practices

Mechanical design proactive and initiative to explore ideas for factory automation

Capable of presenting factory automation on cost estimation, project milestone & return on investment

Enclosure of project documentation for operating procedure, maintenance manual and its design/drawings/BOM

REQUIREMENT

Degree in Mechanical /Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent

Minimum 2 years related experience

Mechanical design proactive and initiative to explore ideas in relation for robotics, systems, control, and product engineering

5 days work (Mon to Fri: 8.15am to 5.30pm)
