WD is hiring for an engineering maintenance role in Penang, Malaysia. You will oversee preventive maintenance, handle equipment form factor conversions, and drive continuous improvement projects.

You will install and commission new equipment, troubleshoot major issues, and manage spare parts inventory while training teams on SOPs and safety standards. Candidates should hold an engineering degree related to Automation/EE/Mechanical/Mechatronic and bring up to 3 years of experience with English

Formación

• Degree in Engineering related to Automation, EE, Mechanical or Mechatronic fields.
• Up to 3 years of experience preferred.
• Strong command of English and good communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee equipment preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• In charge of equipment form factor conversion, setup and buyoff.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and SOP development.
• Install or set up new equipment and propagate configurations.
• Support major equipment issue troubleshooting and spare parts inventory purchasing.
• Training for new SOPs in human behavior or machine operation.
• Adhere to OSHA standards for safety and health.
• Use programming languages (PLC/CTC/C++/Python) for troubleshooting.
