Job summary

StarHub is seeking a highly motivated Automation Engineer based in Malaysia, Petaling Jaya, to own end-to-end automation delivery using UiPath, Workato, and AI-driven automation. You will design, develop, deploy, monitor, and support automation in a DevOps model to drive operational efficiency and improve customer experiences.

You will integrate with enterprise systems, build reusable automation components, and ensure governance and security.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in automation, integration, or RPA development.
Strong hands-on experience with UiPath and Workato.
Experience with API integration and low-code/no-code automation.
Knowledge of AI/Agentic AI concepts and multi-agent frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements from business stakeholders and design scalable, reusable automation solutions.
Develop, configure, and deploy workflows using UiPath and Workato.
Integrate with platforms (CRM, ITSM, Billing, Slack, AI chatbots) to streamline cross-platform processes.
Apply AI and Agentic AI capabilities to enable self-service resolution and autonomous troubleshooting.
Manage the full automation lifecycle: build, test, deploy, monitor, optimize in a DevOps fashion.
