Job summary

Grab is seeking an Automation & BI Engineer to design, build and maintain automation pipelines for Malaysian Operations. Based onsite in Petaling Jaya, you will scope bottlenecks and deliver scalable data solutions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, write Python scripts, build SQL queries, and apply AI tools to improve workflows. The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery and long-term adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field.
• At least 1 year of professional Python experience.
• Experience with AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and management.
• Understanding REST APIs, Webhooks and JSON handling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational processes to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Map workflows and write scripts to connect systems and automate tasks.
• Use Python to automate tasks and ensure scalable solutions.
• Write SQL queries to fetch and transform data for workflows.
• Document processes and create user guides and technical docs.
• Collaborate with MY Operations to tailor solutions and provide support.
