Job summary

Celestica, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Lead Engineer, Systems/Applications Design (System Validation) to guide multi-disciplinary teams through requirements engineering, testing, reliability, and lifecycle management of complex systems.

You will own system-level test plans, coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, customers and suppliers, supervise engineers, and drive projects to successful closure while ensuring design robustness and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of related experience in similar roles.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Understand server, storage and Ethernet switch configurations.
• Lead smaller projects and coordinate with other engineers.
• Review customer documentation, research, and experiments with minimal direction.
• Provide supervision and coaching to associate engineers.
• Create system-level test plans and report results.
