Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an Operations Engineering Associate to support supplier identification, qualification, and change proposals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will review drawings and specs, analyze quotes, drive DPPM/SQIP programs, maintain NPIs, and work with GD&T, FMEA, GR&R. Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo and knowledge of ISO/IATF standards are preferred. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing/Materials) required.
• 2-3 years of related experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality management and SCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the supplier identification and qualification process activities.
• Prepares engineering calculations, design change proposals; review drawings and technical specs.
• Analyze supplier quotes and bids.
• Participate in driving supplier quality performance management (DPPM, SQIP).
• Document and maintain NPIs (FAI, PPAP doc.).
• Communicate effectively in English and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
