Job summary

FENCELINER SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a CAD Drafter to produce AutoCAD drawings for fencing and gate projects. You will prepare layout plans, shop drawings, and as-built drawings from site measurements and customer requirements, and revise drawings for design changes.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or higher and has 1–3 years’ AutoCAD drawing experience with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and English/Bahasa Malaysia communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD drawings for fencing and gate projects.
• Prepare layout plans, detailed drawings and shop drawings for fences and gates.
• Prepare drawings based on site measurements, customer requirements and project specifications.
• Revise drawings according to site conditions, design changes and customer requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings for different types of fences, gates, posts and related components.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Project and Site Teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Check dimensions, measurements and specifications to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Assist in preparing material quantity and take-off based on drawings.
• Prepare as‑built drawings after project completion.
• Maintain proper filing and records of drawings and revisions.
• Perform other drafting and project‑related duties assigned by the management.
• Assist the Admin Department and Management with daily administrative, purchasing, store and operational matters when required.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties and operational tasks as assigned by the Management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or above


• 1–3 years in drawing AutoCAD and general administrative experience; fencing and construction background is an advantage but not required


• Strong attention to detail — this role is fundamentally about catching mismatches before they become problems


• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets/AutoCad


• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English


• Organised and able to chase multiple parties
