Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified Draughtsman to produce detailed 2D drawings, shop drawings, joinery details, and as-built drawings for interior design projects.

You will translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings, ensure compliance with standards, and coordinate with designers, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve discrepancies. Site visits may be required to verify dimensions and gather field information.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Drafting, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman in interior design, architecture, or construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, joinery details, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with local and international drafting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with designers and project teams.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, shop drawings, joinery details, and as-built drawings for interior design projects.

• Assist in preparing presentation drawings and layouts when required.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project deadlines. Preparation of CAD / Technical Drawing for coordination, submission and construction all trades in a competent manner.
• Responsible of all drawings development requirement by project basis.
