Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a full-time CAD Drafter in Selangor to translate engineering requirements into detailed CAD drawings and 3D models. You will design parts, create precise drawings, and collaborate with engineers to ensure feasibility and accuracy of layouts.

The role requires hands-on AutoCAD 2025 experience, strong GD&T interpretation, and the ability to work across multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in 3D modeling tools and workflows.
• Experience with CAD drafting and detailing for fabrication or construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs.
• Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials.
• Site measurements and inspection according to the layout to be created/established.
• Design the part/product using the provided information.
• Create & update detailed designs with CAD software.
• Prepare and review rough sketches with the engineering team.
• Manage technical drawing inventory and maintain master list database.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as required.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Liaise with engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs

Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials

Site measurements and inspection according the layout to be created/established

Designing the part/product with the info given

Create & update detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software

Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflow

Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team

Manage technical drawing inventory & maintain technical drawing master list database

Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as required.

Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

Job Requirement:

Must able to work on Weekly Rotational Shift (follow supervisor schedule)

Hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2025 software

Familiarity with 3D modeling tools

Able to speak and write either Bahasa Malaysia or English
