Job summary

NexV Synergy Sdn Bhd is looking for a Service Advisor in Malaysia to greet customers, understand service needs, and coordinate with technicians to ensure quality work and satisfied customers.

The role involves preparing job orders, service estimates, and repair quotations, explaining costs to customers, and obtaining approvals before additional work. You will also handle invoices and maintain service records.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Automotive or related field.
• Previous experience in automotive service or customer service is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to prepare quotations and explain technical information clearly.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional service.
• Receive vehicles for servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Identify customer concerns and record accurate vehicle details.
• Prepare job orders, service estimates, and repair quotations.
• Explain recommended repairs, service procedures, and costs to customers.
• Obtain customer approval before carrying out additional repairs.
• Coordinate with technicians and the workshop team to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Monitor vehicle repair progress and update customers on service status.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and explain completed work to customers.
• Prepare invoices and ensure payment is collected before vehicle release.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
• Maintain accurate service records and customer information.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer service standards.
• Achieve customer satisfaction and service department targets.
