Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking an Audit Manager for Consumer Banking Audit to lead risk-based audits, evaluate controls, and provide practical recommendations. You will work with cross-functional teams, applying data analytics and AI/ML tools to enhance audit effectiveness while maintaining independence and timely delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of auditing experience in consumer or small business, with strong communication and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and a professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA/CIA/CB/PCC) are preferred.
• At least five years of auditing or credit and business experience in Consumer Banking or Small Business.
• Strong understanding of credit and non-credit risks (secured/unsecured lending, AML, sales practices).
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit management: support GFH and other leaders to manage consumer banking audits end-to-end.
• Conduct risk-based audits, document evidence and ensure timely, high-quality outputs.
• Evaluate root causes and provide actionable recommendations to improve controls.
• Engage stakeholders, monitor issues, and track management action plans.
• Apply data analytics and AI/ML techniques to enhance audit efficiency and insights.
