Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to oversee the in-country consumer banking audit portfolio and shape the annual audit plan in alignment with group strategy. You will manage audit execution, ensure quality standards, and coordinate with regulators and external auditors.

You will lead the local audit team, drive staff development, and implement risk-based controls across wealth management and lending operations.

Qualifications

• Holds a professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA/CIA/CB/PCC) and/or a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the annual in-country audit plan in consultation with senior leaders.
• Manage the execution of the country audit plan within budget.
• Ensure audit quality in conformance with GA’s methodology and QA program.
• Engage with stakeholders including regulators, external auditors, and senior management.
• Lead the in-country audit teams and develop staff through coaching and KPIs.
• Perform investigations into alleged misconduct or suspected internal fraud when referred.
