Job summary

OCBC Malaysia invites applications for a Group Audit leader role focused on consumer banking audits across the organization. You will work with GFH, CH, GPL and CFL to oversee audits, utilize data analytics and AI/ML tools to enhance efficiency, and drive risk-based insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA/CIA/CB/PCC) preferred.
• Minimum five years of auditing or credit and business experience in Consumer and/or Small Business.
• Strong understanding of risks and controls related to credit and non-credit businesses.
• Analytical and managerial skills; ability to perform technical work and maintain big-picture view.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact with multiple levels, lead assignments, travel up to 10%.
• Proficiency in data analytics, Generative AI and ML tools.

Responsibilities

• Audit Management: support senior leadership to manage and conduct consumer banking audits and risk-based assurance.
• Collaborate with audit team to complete engagements on time and within budget.
• Document working papers with evidence and observations; review peers’ work.
• Provide root-cause analyses and actionable recommendations to improve internal controls.
• Review adequacy of evidence and manage closure of audit issues.
