Job summary

OCBC in Malaysia is seeking a Business & Operational Audit professional to strengthen risk governance, improve processes, and deliver actionable recommendations across operations. The role emphasizes data-driven insights and effective risk mitigation.

You will lead risk surveillance, collaborate with Internal Audit and Compliance, and communicate complex findings clearly to senior management, supporting timely closure of issues and overall operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance or business
• At least 3 years in audit or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance risk surveillance methodologies and analytical models.
• Monitor and track identified risk indicators, alerts, and flagged cases to ensure timely follow-up and resolution by relevant stakeholders.
• Reviewing and validating the quality and effectiveness of risk assessments and investigations.
• Collaborating closely with Internal Audit, Compliance, and business units to ensure timely closure of audit findings, compliance observations, and control gaps.
• Escalating significant risk issues and emerging trends to management to facilitate informed decision-making and effective risk mitigation.
• Driving data-driven risk intelligence initiatives to strengthen the Bank's overall risk oversight and governance capabilities.
