Job summary

IoTronix Technologies Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a hands-on supervisor to manage shift operations and manpower for a PCB assembly facility. You will ensure production targets are met, coordinate with engineers and supervisors, and drive efficient SMT material handling.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors.
• Explains job scope and operational flow clearly to ensure smooth handovers.
• Executes supervisory tasks including manpower (HC) arrangement and shift operation planning.
• Manages and oversees shift operations with approximately 30 headcounts (HC).
• Ensures compliance with production schedules and targets.
• Oversees SMT Kitting process end-to-end (from material receiving to SMT line).
• Performs Offline Feeder Setup and Offline Feeder Return with full technical knowledge of setup details and troubleshooting.
• Supports process improvements and efficiency optimization in SMT material handling.
• Troubleshooting on process related.
• Work Order Settlement.
• Demonstrates strong discipline, punctuality, and reliability.
• Maintains a positive attitude and professional conduct, setting an example for team members.
• Responsible to co-operate and comply with any procedures, instructions, control measures on EHS instituted by the organization.
• Responsible for taking reasonable care to follow Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices —for themselves, their colleagues, and the surrounding environment.
• Understand and adopt the correct practices for handling chemicals, in accordance with the Chemical Management Procedure.
• Aware of the relevant facilities associated with emergency preparedness and response, and understand their roles in ensuring readiness.
• Responsible to assist EHS personnel on conducting regular monitoring and measuring of EHS performance, such as noise risk assessment, chemical health risk assessment (CHRA), ergonomic risk assessment, etc.
• Any ad-hoc task as per assigned by the supervisor or manager.
