Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a skilled PCBA manufacturing team. You will manage WIP across Frontend, Backend and SSD operations, plan daily shift objectives, and drive productivity and safety.

You will coach operators, support troubleshooting with Engineering, and foster a culture of learning and ownership. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in PCBA manufacturing are required; 12-hour shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in PCBA manufacturing.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Able to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a production team of skilled operators to meet output, quality and cycle time targets.
• Manage WIP across Frontend, Backend and SSD operations to ensure smooth material flow.
• Plan daily shift objectives and goals as part of productivity and continuous improvement.
• Communicate handling/taking over duties between shifts.
• Liaise with Management, Planning and Engineering on daily production issues.
• Nurture operators' career development through coaching and on-the-job training.
• Create a harmonious and safe working environment that instills teamwork, commitment and ownership in the team.
• Work to create a culture of learning and sharing of Best Known Methods to simplify procedures and process flows.
• Leveraging AI tools to retrieve technical information and support troubleshooting.
