Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Revenue/Accounts role focusing on cash collections, billing for outpatients, and daily cash reconciliation across our network of hospitals. The role requires accurate recording in the cash submission book and strict adherence to cash handling procedures and safety policies.

You will drop daily float, allocate payments in the HITS system, finalize outpatient bills, ensure compliance with patient rights and hospital accreditation standards, and

Responsibilities

• Daily cash collection and safe deposit, recorded in the cash submission book.
• Drop float daily and ensure float and collections tally with close till.
• Allocate payments received from patients in the HITS system.
• Finalize outpatient bills on a daily basis and verify accuracy.
• Check and finalize outpatient bills and submission of dialysis bills.
• Comply with cash management policies and ensure patient/family rights are observed.
• Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Act and hospital safety requirements.
• Support patient safety goals and hospital accreditation standards; maintain records.

• Responsible for handling over daily collections and drop into safe box upon close till. Record in the cash submission book.
• Require to drop float by daily basis and ensure float and collection are tallied with close till.
• Allocate payment receive from patients in the HITS system.
• Responsible to finalize outpatients bills by daily basis.
• Checking and finalization of outpatient bills
• Responsible for submission of dialysis bills
• Companies and Government Agencies
• Comply to cash management policies.
• Ensure the policies on patients and family’s rights are addressed at all times
• To carry out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulation 1994:

  c. To wear or use any protective or measure on occupational safety and health.

• Ensure compliance of Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures
  recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008)
• Ensure all Hospital policies and Procedures and Hospital Accreditation are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
• Adopt the policies and procedures of ISO
• 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards
• Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced
• Ensure the policies on Patient and Family’s Rights are addressed at all times.
