Job summary

Iotronix in Malaysia is seeking a shift supervisor to oversee SMT kitting, offline feeder setup and returns with a team of about 30 staff. You will coordinate manpower and material flow to maintain smooth production and meet targets.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in engineering, prior SMT manufacturing experience, and proven supervisory abilities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in SMT manufacturing, especially Kitting or feeder setup.
• Experience supervising production teams in fast-paced environments.

Job description

• Support SMT shift operations by managing SMT Kitting, Offline Feeder Setup and Feeder Return activities while coordinating manpower and material flow to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors.
• Explains job scope and operational flow clearly to ensure smooth handovers.
• Executes supervisory tasks including manpower (HC) arrangement and shift operation planning.
• Manages and oversees shift operations with approximately 30 headcounts (HC).
• Ensures compliance with production schedules and targets.
• Manages SMT Kitting process end-to-end (from material receiving to SMT line).
• Performs Offline Feeder Setup and Offline Feeder Return with full technical knowledge of setup details and troubleshooting.
• Supports process improvements and efficiency optimization in SMT material handling.
• Troubleshooting on process related.
• Work Order Settlement.
• Demonstrates strong discipline, punctuality, and reliability.
• Maintains a positive attitude and professional conduct, setting an example for team members.

Qualifications Required

• Certificate/Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Experience in SMT manufacturing, preferably with SMT Kitting, Feeder Setup, or material handling operations.
• Experience in supervising or coordinating production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of SMT Kitting workflow, Offline Feeder Setup, and Feeder Return processes.
• Good understanding of manpower planning, shift operations, production targets, and work order settlement.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
