Genting Malaysia Berhad invites experienced MICE sales professionals to drive revenue for premium attractions and events within the resort ecosystem. You will develop and execute sales strategies, source new business, and build strong client relationships.

Drive sales for MICE attraction related products including Eufloria, golf tournaments, Genting SkyWorlds team building programmes, family day events and GSW buyout events.
Work with Director of Sales (MICE) to develop and execute sales strategies, annual plans and market approaches to achieve revenue and room night targets.
Identify new business opportunities from corporate, government, GLC, associations, training consultants, schools, event organizer and other relevant market segments.
Develop packages, pricing proposals and value propositions to position MICE attractions within the resort ecosystem.
Actively source leads, conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections and business meetings to convert opportunities into confirmed events.
Manage assigned accounts and serve as the key point of contact for clients from enquiry through event completion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, training consultants, event organizer, golf organisers, schools and associations.
Understand client objectives and recommend suitable concepts, packages and programme flow to meet their needs.
Negotiate commercial terms and close sales in line with approved pricing and profitability requirements.
Ensure a high standard of client servicing, timely follow-up and professional communication throughout the sales cycle.
Work closely with internal departments including rooms, banquet, F&B, Golf, Theme Park, Events & Entertainment, Transport, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Social Media, Public Relations, Rewards, Attractions and other related department to ensure smooth event planning and execution.
Coordinate quotations, contracts, booking arrangements, deposits, event orders, food tasting, site inspections, rooming requirements and programme details.
Support the planning and delivery of all related events.
Ensure all client requirements, changes and operational information are properly documented and communicated to relevant teams.
Conduct post-event follow-up and gather feedback to improve future event delivery and strengthen repeat business opportunities.
Prepare proposals, commercial terms, quotations, contracts, proforma invoices, event order and other required sales records accurately and promptly.
Monitor event revenue, costs, payment timelines and billing matters to support commercial control and smooth event closure.
Maintain accurate account, lead and booking information in Dynamics 365 or other designated systems.
Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, performance analysis and market intelligence for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies, MICE SOPs and relevant internal procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Event Management or related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in MICE sales, hotel sales, event management, attraction sales, golf event sales, theme park sales, corporate team building or related hospitality field.
Experience handling products or events related to outdoor venues, attractions, golf tournaments, family day programmes, corporate events or incentive groups will be a strong advantage.
Strong sales, negotiation, presentation and account management skills.
Good understanding of the MICE industry, market segments, event conversion process and commercial requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and work effectively across multiple internal departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Dynamics 365 or equivalent CRM / sales systems.
Able to travel for sales calls, site inspections, trade events and client meetings when required.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and converting new business opportunities.
Experience in packaging and selling experiential, lifestyle or attraction-based event solutions.
Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines and event requirements concurrently.
Commercially aware, detail-oriented and confident in client-facing situations.
Positive team player with strong follow-up discipline and service mindset.
