Job summary

Glenmarie Golf & Country Club in Shah Alam, Malaysia seeks a capable professional to manage the Sport & Recreation Centre operations. You will oversee the Annual Management Plan, forecast revenues and expenses, and ensure smooth daily operations of facilities such as the gym, pool, and events spaces.

You will plan and run events, promote memberships, develop the Social Pass Program, and maintain equipment and spaces. Previous leadership in sport or recreation facilities is valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
Experience in outdoor team building and promoting membership for sport facilities.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

Oversee Annual Management Plan (AMP) and forecasts for operating revenue and expenses.
Ensure smooth daily operations of all Sport & Recreation Centre sections (gym, swimming pool, karaoke, etc.).
Plan, promote and run events and activities at the centre, including seminars, coaching sessions, and corporate team building.
Develop, plan and execute Social Pass Program to enhance corporate brand value and growth.
Monitor and maintain equipment, space usage, and facility upkeep.
Develop and implement procedures and policies for the facilities.
Ensure all facilities and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

1. Responsible for Annual Management Plan (AMP).

2. Develop and prepare forecasts for all operating revenue & expenses.

3. Responsible for the smooth running of daily operations of all sections under Sport & Recreation Centre. This will include the sports facilities such as sports centre, gymnasium, Olympic size swimming pool, Karaoke etc or sports events and activities.

4. Plan, prepare, promote and run events schedule to take place at Sport & Recreation Centre such as promoting Sport events, competition, seminar/clinic and coaching session or Corporate team building.

5. Develop, plan and execute Social Pass Program to enhance corporate brand value and create new growth of business.

6. Monitoring and regularly check on equipment need to be service, maintain, replace or planning the best use of space.

7. Developing and implementing procedures and policies.

8. Ensure all sports facilities are in proper working condition and all equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Dipmona, Professional Degree or any related qualifications.

2. Experience in conducting outdoor team building and promoting membership for sport facilities will be an advantage.

3. Minimum 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
