• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensure project schedules and milestones are achieved.
• Attend site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure site activities comply with project schedules.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections.
• Track project progress against the approved work programme.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and budgets.
• Verify subcontractor work progress before payment claims.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Assist in variation order (VO) documentation and cost evaluations.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.
• Ensure defects are rectified within the required timeframe.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, company safety policies, and site regulations.
• Coordinate with the Safety Officer to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
• Maintain proper filing of project documents, drawings, RFIs, method statements, inspection records, and correspondence.
• Ensure all revised drawings are distributed to relevant parties.
• Prepare and submit project reports as required.
• Coordinate material requisitions and deliveries.
• Ensure materials are delivered according to the construction schedule.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues.
• Assist the Project Manager in maintaining good relationships with clients, consultants, and authorities.
• Respond promptly to technical queries and requests.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals.
• Support the Project Manager in achieving project objectives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
• Mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff where necessary.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with all project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement in project execution and team performance.
