Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and process engineering initiatives to ensure optimum productivity and output quality.

You'll drive cost-effective manufacturing across production and process engineering, supervise on-site teams and subcontractors, and implement quality tools and continuous improvement frameworks to maintain ISO9001 compliance and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with leadership in batch assembly and process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of quality and productivity improvement methodologies.
• Background in the semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost-effective manufacturing operations across production and process engineering functions.
• Lead executive and operative team members while supervising vendor and subcontractor activities on site.
• Implement quality tools and continuous improvement frameworks to elevate operational productivity.
• Maintain oversight of consigned components, equipment, and tooling to guarantee production readiness.
• Partner with the quality lead to coordinate and fulfill ISO9001 compliance standards.
