Job summary
APM Automotive Holdings Berhad is seeking a Production Manager to lead end-to-end production processes in our Malaysia facility. You will manage planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet quality and cost targets while driving continuous improvement.
The role requires coordination with engineering, maintenance, and procurement to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering/industrial, 8+ years in production with 5+ in leadership, and experience in ISO
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in engineering/manufacturing/industrial field.
- 8+ years in production/manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership.
- Experience with inventory management, SCM, and quality control systems.
- Previous automotive manufacturing or high-volume, precision-focused industry experience preferred.
- ISO 9001/TS/14001 internal auditor or lead auditor certification.
Responsibilities
- Oversee entire production process from planning to completion.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
- Manage production schedules and resource allocation.
- Monitor costs and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Lead 4M (man, machine, material, method) alignment and 5S housekeeping.
- Coordinate with PPCD, Purchasing, and Operations to resolve bottlenecks.
