Job summary

Randstad in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and drive process engineering initiatives to optimize productivity and output quality. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing with leadership in batch assembly and process engineering, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with proven leadership in batch assembly and process engineering.
• Strong practical knowledge of quality and productivity improvement methodologies.
• Background within the semiconductor industry is advantageous.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost-effective manufacturing operations across production and process engineering functions.
• Lead executive and operative team members while supervising vendor and subcontractor activities on site.
• Implement quality tools and continuous improvement frameworks to elevate operational productivity.
• Maintain oversight of consigned components, equipment, and tooling to guarantee production readiness.
• Partner with the quality lead to coordinate and fulfill ISO9001 compliance standards.
