Job summary

WR Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Production Engineer to support and improve production processes, ensure consistent product quality, and drive cost efficiency through lean methods and continuous improvement.

You will monitor operations, resolve process and equipment issues, analyse data to reduce waste and downtime, and prepare production reports while collaborating with Maintenance and QA to meet targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of production processes and Lean Manufacturing is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve production processes, productivity, and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve production, process, and equipment-related issues.
• Analyse production data and recommend improvements to reduce waste, downtime, and operating costs.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure production activities comply with quality, safety, and company requirements.
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Assist in new product, process, equipment, and production line improvement projects.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel when required.
• Monitor the achievement of production targets and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
