Job summary

Mutu Case is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily business operations, staff performance, sales achievement, inventory control and overall operational efficiency. Collaborate with retail outlets, warehouse and related teams to ensure SOP compliance and target achievement.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business/operations, 2–3 years in relevant roles, and strong leadership, analytical and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in operations, retail, sales or supervisory roles.
• Experience in retail, wholesale, mobile accessories or similar industries is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and staff management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; experience with AutoCount, POS or ERP systems is a plus.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Job description

We are looking for a responsible and results-driven Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily business operations, staff performance, sales achievement, inventory control and overall operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with retail outlets, warehouse and related departments to ensure smooth operations, SOP compliance and achievement of company targets.

Key responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily operations and ensure SOP compliance.

Supervise, coach and monitor staff performance.

Monitor sales targets, KPIs and overall outlet performance.

Monitor stock, inventory and store standards.

Handle operational issues and customer complaints.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales and operations reports.

Analyze sales, KPI and operational performance data.

Identify trends, performance gaps and recommend improvements.

Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational matters.
