Job summary

Lachér Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to coordinate end-to-end guest services and optimize daily operations across cafes and central kitchen.

You will lead the operations team, design training programs, update SOPs, manage POS and inventory, and ensure health and safety compliance while delivering exceptional hospitality. You will drive staff performance, foster a positive work environment, and communicate effectively with senior management to elevate service

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations leadership or supervisory roles in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing operations.
• Experience designing and facilitating customer service training programs.
• Strong understanding of operational workflows and SOP development.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Drive elevated service standards and instill a guest-first culture across daily operations.
• Design and conduct regular customer service training sessions for upskilling staff.
• Coordinate end-to-end order processing from preparation to delivery.
• Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with standards.
• Manage and optimise the POS system with integrations to inventory, finance, and e-commerce.
• Lead and support the operations team with coaching and feedback.
• Improve cross-departmental communication and daily workflow execution.
• Oversee inventory management, stock levels, replenishment, and accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of product specifications and updates for the team.
• Ensure a clean, safe, compliant work environment per health and hygiene regulations.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on performance and improvements.
